A SINGLE TREE CAN ABSORB UP TO TEN POUNDS OF AIR POLLUTANTS IN A YEAR, AND PRODUCE UP TO 260 POUNDS OF TREES CAN ALSO REDUCE ENERGY CONSUMPTION FROM 15 TO 50 PERCENT SINCE THEY PROVIDE SHADOWS AND NATURAL COOLING.
