Happiness at Work

HAPPINESS AT WORK G.D.P. The concept of Gross National Happiness was born in a small country called Bhutan, located on the slopes of the Himalayas (China) in 1972, created by King Jigme Singye Wangchuck. The aim was to demonstrate that the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) was not the best indicator of growth and satisfaction of a nation and that the model of GNH (Gross National Happiness), based on the principle that true development of human society takes place when the spiritual evolution material and place side by side, complementing and reinforcing each other, a commitment that has built an economy adapted to the culture of the country, based on Buddhist spiritual values. The pillars of GNH are based on and the promotion of socio-economic development and equal, the preservation and promotion of cultural values, conservation of the natural environment and establishment of good governance. 36% Yes 69% No Percentage of those who think that gets good results at work. Happiness at work In fact, the happiness of a nation is not a priority of our global governors. Our own happiness depends on ourselves. Alexander Kjerulf, considered one of the most influential speakers of our time or, as he defines himself a CHO (Chief Happiness Officer), wrote a book which addresses questions about happi- ness at work and how this is, in fact, factors most influence us in our personal happiness. This book Happy Hour is 9 to 5 - How to Love Your Job, Love Your Life and Kick Butt at Work, was the basis of the study that I conducted for this work, through a survey of young adults, students and workers, locality in northern Portugal, in areas such as creative Design, Advertising, Marketing, Arts, etc.. These statistics focus on one of the most iconic themes of contemporary society: for a good yield is necessary that we feel happy, which creates a good creativity and achievement.
