GUITARS OF 1EGEND THAT ROCK AND ROLL SOUND BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN BOSS'S FENDER ESQUIRE (I971 - PRESENT) 1953 FENDER ESQUIRE, BUTTERSCOTCH BLONDE FINISH - HEAVILY MODIFIED Titanium six-saddle bridge from Petillo 1953 Esquire body heavily routed under the pick guard to add a neck pickup, similar to a Telecaster 1955-1957 maple Fender Esquire neck Petillo precision frets Telecaster-esque black pickguard fastened with eight screws instead of five Petillo string stree active boost/tone 0.10 Petillo long-lasting stainless steel strings controls custom hot-rewound single-coil pickups presumed to be from a late 50's telecaster The whole guitar is waterproofed because Boss likes to dunk his head on stage. The pickups are reported to have been dipped in epoxy of some sort. This guitar has been changed multiple times over the years. These specs aim to be correct for the guitar in its current form.
