Based on the CEC 2012 voters list, JumpStart Georgia visualized the top Georgian first and last names. The visualization also includes some unique names belonging to only one person from the voters list. To overcome the many ways that Georgian names were entered in the voters list database, in some cases JumpStart Georgia merged names that were clearly related, but written using alternative spellings, such as Mariam and Mariami, Mamedov, Mamedovi, and Mamedova. However, JumpStart Georgia has not altered the names in the voters list in any other way. It may be that some names were entered with spelling mistakes, and this will have an effect on the total numbers that were used for this visualization.
