With more than 125 million searches in November each year, a trend appeared. The highest percentage of searches on FoodNetwork.com in the first week of November is for appetizers, followed by desserts in the second week, turkey the week before Thanksgiving and sides the week of. The other trend that came through loud and clear is that the classics that have stood the test of time. It’s not the latest food craze or newest ingredients that are hot, but the tried and true dishes that people love coming back to year after year. Turkey, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie still rule.
