We built the site to be uniquely shareable, with each individual content item deep linked onto the page so that when you Liked that story, a link would appear on your Wall liking that individual story, instead of the page as a whole. We also developed the site to have a unique parallax effect so that the user felt as if they were traversing from the sky, down into the Bay Area and towards San Francisco.
