Evolution of the US Health Care Industry

EVOLUTION of HEALTH CARE The American health care system has been under constant modification since its inception, and with the 2010 Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, changes have been made that are sure to reverberate for years to come. Here is a brief glimpse of how health care has changed and will change. 1990s By the end of the decade there are 44 MILLION AMERICANS, 16% of the nation, with no health insurance. 2000s In 1993, federal health care reform legislation fails to pass in the U.S. Congress.
