The Evolution of TECHNOLOGY IN THE RECRUITMENT INDUSTRY Recruitment has evolved to become a multi-billion-pound industry, with the development of technology playing a huge role in its success. But where did the concept of recruitment as a business start and how is it evolving in our continuously connected lives? 1940s Recruitment agencies are opened to fill the void in the workforce made by those who had gone to war.
