iStockphoto, the content library, has produced an infographic which depicts current image trends across Europe. Among other things, the infographic highlights that over the past year there has been a marked increased in desire amongst customers for localised content, with Europeans leading the way in their demands – more so than their North American and Asian counterparts. The infographic highlights Europe’s love for the more deconstructed, relaxed style of shooting that features imperfections (according to the ‘rules’ of photography that you learn at college.) Other topics hot on the continent include active lifestyle, European urban lifestyle, as well as in increase in demands for images that romanticise public transport!
