But, if you have the determination and the talent, you could make it all the way to Hollywood. Here's what you need to know: INDUSTRY SPOTLIGAT Australia's screen industry is the third largest creative industries segment. In 2009, it contributed 16 per cent to the sector's Industry Gross Product. For actors, dancers and other entertainers, job openings in Australia are at a low, and employment is expected to decline over the next five years. Unemployment levels are above average. Job prospects for artistic directors, media producers and presenters are faring a lot better with moderate growth forecast, and average unemployment levels.
