STUDENTS' ATTITUDES TOWARDS LEARNING ENGLISH PRONUNCIATION by Saundz Pronunciation is an important aspect of language learning which is often neglected in classrooms. This infographic highlights students attitudes towards pronunciation in terms of its importance, practicing resources, accent preferences. The responses presented are taken from the online survey conducted by the Saundz research team. According to Nowacka (2012), students strive towards good pronunciation in order to sound like a native/ near native speaker, to be clearly understood and to avoid misunderstandings. Fine English pronunciation is also a key skill for career growth. Pronunciation is often neglected in classrooms 79% of students think that teachers pay more attention to other aspects of learning Well-rooted view holds that pronunciation is not as important as knowing grammar rules, or having rich vocabulary.
