This year, we are highlighting the issue of early marriage in Turkey and how we are working with our partners to end it. In Turkey, 40% of girls under the age of 18 are forced into marriage for cultural and economic reasons. Child marriage hampers every aspect of a girl’s development. Child brides are voiceless, vulnerable and among the world’s most isolated individuals. This International Women's Day, we invite you to join our efforts in giving a voice to these girls.
