This graphic was on a page that focused on a very famous area of Beijing called Gulou It's avery old area. beijing has these small streets called Hutongs and they have a life of their own, This part of town will be renovated. The page of course talks to residents, and some are happy to be relocated. The area is so old that some or most of the house don't have bathrooms (Beijing has public bathroom everywhere for the same reason) The drainage is old and well there is no more space. Still critics argue about destroying an incredible part of the city that goes back hundreds of years.
