The top 20 clubs generated over €4.4 billion in 2010/11. For the fourth successive year, the clubs comprising the top six in the Money League remain the same. Schalke 04 climb six places to claim a top ten position for the first time. Borussia Dortmund, Valencia and Napoli are new entries into the top 20. 19 of the 20 clubs in the Football Money League played in European competition in 2010/11. All 20 Money League clubs play in the 'big five' European leagues. Real Madrid, League in 2010/11 with a further five FC Barcelona, and Bayern Munich generated the most from matchday, broadcasting, and commercial sources respectively in 2010/11. 14 clubs participated in the Champions clubs competing in the Europa League.
