La Ley sobre Refugiados y Protección Complementaria fue promulgada el 26 de enero de 2011 y publicada en el Diario Oficial de la Federación al día siguiente. The Law on Refugees and Complementary Protection was promulgated January 26, 2011 and published in the Official Journal of the Federation the following day. Place a refugee as a subject of law and provides that a person who is persecuted in their country of origin can not be deported.
