2. This infographic warns merchants and consumers of the attack of Spammers and Hackers during Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This includes some illustrations on what happened last November 2010 that Google experts had found out. This infographic sends out awareness most especially to avid shoppers during Cyber Monday. There might be offers like the iPad2 that only costs between &199 and $320. It looks malicious in a way that iPad2 price usually ranges from $599-799. This shows how scammers made sophisticated deals to attract more shoppers and purchase in fake sites they have made, just like in 2010, the term “Cyber Monday Deals” that results in 400% increase in views and they can use this in maximizing their victims. These fake sites include keywords like “toys” or “jewelries”. Once personal information and credit card details are being entered into these fake sites, you are already hacked and lost your money. This shows how important Firewalls and updated Software can secure your purchases and also protect merchants from being scammed. The lesson is not to open unfamiliar sites and not to jump on big discounts that are obviously malicious and avoid leaked Cyber Friday Sale just to save up money but actually losing a lot more than that.
