In an effort to support this year’s NPHW theme, “Public Health is ROI: Save Lives, Save Money” MPH@GW has created an infographic, “The Cost of Obesity” with statistics that highlight obesity as a national epidemic, the financial impact on our communities and the overall economy, and preventative measures we can take to positively affect change at a national level. This graphic was recognized by the American Public Health Association as a National Winner in the 2013 Infographic Contest.
