This is an infographic I have created to display ways to make your halls at University feel more like home. Your university accommodation is more than just a place to sleep at night. No matter what co...
urse you’re studying, how hectic your social life is or how many times you scuttle back home to mum and dad because you’ve ran out of money (believe me it’ll be more often than you think) you are going to spend a lot of time in your room. Photographs are a necessity to reduce the possibility of homesickness. Waking up to see friends and family guarantees to put a smile on your face. Accessories you will benefit from are an alarm clock to wake you up instead of your mum shouting at you and candles and flowers to add a homely scent to your room. Bedding is an important factor in your new room. Your bed will also double up as your sofa, therefore cushions, blankets and pillows will really brighten the place up (little tip, try and choose dark colours as someone is bound to spill something sooner or later!). Essentials include a laptop (unfortunately you do have to do some work at uni at some point) a lamp for those last minute assignments and a bin (it will be used for more than one use). Enjoy taking a look!
