Santa's favorite drink to kick back is a cozy little cocktail made right at home. Only Mrs. Claus knew how to make it Santa knows how important it is to mix a delicious drink and take some time to stare out the window at a beautiful perfectly.till now. winter snowfall. Place vodka, liqueur and cider into shaker and shake vigorously. Strain into glass and serve immediately. Pour coffee liqueur, schnapps, and vodka (preferably of the Russian variety) over ice and stir gently. Float fresh cream on top. Throw in candy cane, do not shake. Sugar Plum Fairy Rudolphs Red Nose Santa's not big on Asian cuisine (not enough cookies), but Japanese children have found a way to make him happy with Oh boy was Rudolph embarrassed (and a little tipsy) after he finished off a whole punchbowl of this tropic classic. this Sake drink. TOKYO CARIBBEAN 3/4 cup plum sake 6 cups cranberry juice 1/4 cup lemon juice 2 cups oj concentrate 4 cups Sangria GARNISHES lemon wedge, cinnamon stick, plum GARNISHES 2 tbsp brown sugar, 1/2 tsp almond extract, orange slices Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and heat. Serve in a ceramic cup or mug. Heat ingredients till steaming (about 5-8 minutes); do not boil. Add brown sugar and almond extract and mix till dissolved. Keep punch warm over lowest heat. Serves nine. Candy Cane Eggneg Tequila Snouofall Sunrise Santa picked up this recipe after an enterprising boy left him a nightcap along with a plate of cookies. No lumps of coal for that kid! Way south of the border, it never quite cools off enough for Santa's liking. He's learned to cope with this holiday twist on a classic. NEW ENGLAND MEXICO 1 quart eggnog 6 cups ginger ale 1/4 cup tequila 1/4 cup orange liqueur 1 cup rum 1/2 cup orange juice 1 quart peppermint 1/2 cup cranberry juice ice cream GARNISHES lime, 2 tbs GARNISHES cinnamon stick pomegranate syrup Stir ice cream until softened. Gradually stir in eggnog and rum. Transfer to a punch bowl, and stir in ginger ale. Float additional ice cream scoops on top, garnish with cinnamon, and serve immediately. Pour ingredients over ice, tequila first. Gently pour the pomegranate syrup into the glass and serve. Do not stir. Finish with a squeeze of lime.
