Following the recent tragedy at Sandy Hook elementary school the issue of gun free zones is once again shown to be an invitation to mentally unbalanced individuals to commit heinous crimes with assault rifles. As such it is now time to once again consider options to protect people living in gun free zones not least college students. Should students be allowed to carry guns on campus given the past massacres that have occurred on college grounds? It’s a question some colleges have already answered by allowing their students to carry but should more follow suit? I was tasked with looking at the evidence and making a supportive argument for this case in order to stir debate. Please take a look at this graphic and see if you agree.
