10 years ago this week, the U.S. declared a war in Afghanistan. A decade later, it's hard to imagine what our country would be like without this war. Nothing can replace the thousands of brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers and friends - Americans, Afghans and everyone else - who have been killed or injured in this, the longest war in American history.
