Android Troubleshooting Flowchart

Does it seem like one certain app is messing things up? Is your phone "rooted," or can you root it fairly easily? Head to Settings, choose "Apps," find application (in scroll), and tap. Reboot into "Safe Mode" Are you running Android 4.1 or later? (long-press on "Power Off" option). If improved, try uninstalling likely culprits. From the app's menu in Settings/Apps, choose "Clear cache." Install ClockworkMod ROM Manager and back up, or use Titanium Backup. Then... [N Install MyBackup land save as much phone material as you can. Then .. Fixed? Are you running the "official" version of Android for your phone? Head into Settings, enable "Back up my data' and "Automatic restore." From the app's menu in Settings/Apps, choose "Clear cache." N. Is your phone better/working? Reboot your phone, |log into the same Google account, and use Titanium or MyBackup to speed up the restoration. So! Uninstall and re-install app, backing up whatever data you can.
