DROUGHT (1) As part of its Disaster Assistance and Recovery program, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation tracks how the business community responds to disaster relief and recovery efforts. During times of need, businesses provide financial support to relief organizations, in-kind donations to communities in need, and their resources and expertise to solve problems. From 2004 – 2013, businesses donated more than $2.6 billion to the 26 major natural and man-made disasters.
