7 EASY CHANGES TO IMPROVE YOUR HEALTH IN 2015 When it comes to productivity, perhaps no other factor is more important than our own health. These seven tips will allow you to achieve a healthy body and become more efficient at work. MAKE EXERCISE A PRIORITY Your body needs exercise as much as it needs food. Dedicating 30 minutes of your day to any kind of exercise not only keeps you in shape but also builds a positive attitude. INCREASE YOUR WATER INTAKE Take your weight in pounds, divide it by two and convert the pounds to ounces. That's how much water you should drink every day. INCREASE YOUR FIBER INTAKE Fiber decreases fat absorption, decreases your appetite and lowers cho- lesterol. Having more than 20 grams per day will do wonders for your health. GO ORGANIC IF YOU CAN Not all calories were created equal. The source matters. If you are getting most of your calories from natural, organic sources, your body is able to metabolize them faster. BE PATIENT Change takes time. Don't be discouraged if you don't see results straight away. Eventually you will gain momentum and feel the difference. WALK LIKE YOU'RE ON A MISSION Walking is one of the best exercises that you can do, but if you are unable to slot in the recommended 30 minutes of exercise every day, try to pick up the pace. REWARD YOURSELF If you just can't get a giant banana split out of your head, then don't fight it, give into the urge. Rewarding yourself every once in a while is a great strategy to make sure you stay on the bandwagon.
