5 CHEAP &EASY DIY FASHION PROJECTS What you'll need: fringe trim Velcro dots FRINGE ANKLETS 1 Wrap the fringe around your ankle and cut it to size. 2 Add Velcro dots to opposite ends. 3 Repeat and pair with matching shoes. FOAMCLUTCH What you'll need: foam rubber embellishments Velcro 1 Fold the foam rubber in half and sew along the edges. 2 Cut into an envelope shape. 3 Add Velcro to the flap and body. 4 Embellish. STUDDED BRACELET What you'll need: electrical tape studs Velcro dots 1 Cut a 12" piece of tape, fold in half and stick together. 2 Place studs along the length of the tape. 3 Cover the prongs on the back with an extra piece of tape. 4 Make sure the bracelet fits (add more tape if it doesn't. 5 Apply half a Velcro dot to each end. COINPURSE What you'll need: fabric scraps Velcro 1 Make a template of 7.5" x 3.5" 2 Cut out 4 pieces of fabric (2 are for the lining). 3 Sew along sides and bottom of two of the pieces (right sides together) and turn inside out. 4 Stitch in the lining (right sides together). 5 Add Velcro to the inside. What you'll need: ribbons and accessories Velcro FLIP-FLOP STRAPS 1 Measure the length of your flip-flop straps. 2 Cut pieces of ribbon and sew them together at the end at an angle, trim the ends. 3 Glue Velcro to ribbons and straps.
