Every 4 years, the people of The United States come together on Election Day to cast their vote for the candidate(s) they feel represents their needs best as a constituent. Every election year is important, but the 2012 Presidential Election seems to be at a heightened sense of importance due to social media, the constant 24 hours news cycle and that pesky Great Recession that everyone keeps talking about.
