MAKE IT MEANINGFUL While aesthetics are a factor in both naming and designing a mark for your brand, one of the most important things to consider is the meaning behind your brand. What makes your company unique? Communicating your unique perspective can make all the difference in making a brand memorable. 2. USE COLORS TO COMMUNICATE While a brand should always be able to stand alone in black and white or color, it is important to consider the way colors can affect a logo. Properties of color can influence mood and memory, and it is important to know what your brand color says about you. 3. SHARE AN IDEA Be bigger than a representation, be an idea that forms in the minds of your Customers. USE GRAMMAR IN YOUR FAVOR When you're choosing a brand name or writing a tagline, keep the rules of grammar in mind. This is not to say that every brand name should be a real word in the dictionary - but a brand name should be phonetically pleasing.
