10 Types Of Drivers We All See

10 types of drivers we all see The Road Rager Usually in a hurry and can't work out why most other drivers are idiots. Gesticulates wildly and mouths Why?!' to other drivers and is fast and loose with flashing their lights (and bad language). Try not to take it personally when coming up against the road rager, it's safe to say they are like it with most others. 2 The Kind Driver Always sympathises with other cars trying to manoeuvre in a really difficult spot or pull out at junctions, lights and roundabouts, so are consistently nice. Very kind, but all their good deeds means it takes them ages to actually get anywhere. 3 The Pop Star Always sympathises with other cars trying to manoeuvre in a really difficult spot or pull out at junctions, lights and roundabouts, so are consistently nice. Very kind, but all their good deeds means it takes them ages to actually get anywhere. 4 The Speedster Passengers in the speed demon's car are often slamming on their imaginary brake pedal or clenching. They'd probably describe themselves as 'powerful' or 'trendy', but the rest of us can probably think of a different word to use... 5 The DJ They like to play the latest awesome tracks while they're driving. But it's not enough that they can hear; the cars next to them and any passers- by must also hear how awesome their music is, so music is played at ground- shaking decibels. 6 The Pensioner N.B. one doesn't have to be of pensioner age to drive like one. Their hands rarely slip from the 10 and 2 position, their seat is close up to the steering wheel. They tend to drift and approach junctions painfully slowly. Of course, you're much more forgiving when the driver is a pensioner. The Accessory Probably a big fan of Pimp my Ride, the accessory likes to customise their car with floor lights, cow skin seats, multiple tail pipes or eyelashes for their headlights. These cars are hard to take seriously and even harder to sell on (for good reason). YOLO The Learner Someone who actually follows the rules of the road, signals properly, approaches junctions cautiously and may be prone to the odd stallI. Probably nervous and could do with looking in their rear view mirror and seeing you smile rather than curse at them - we were all learners once, eh? 9 The Multi-Tasker They are so busy that they try and optimise their productivity by trying to do way too many things as well as drive; apply make-up, text, reply to emails, look through a pile of CDs on their lap, drinking a take away coffee, steering with their knees or squeeze a spot. If you are a multi-tasker, please please stop before you hurt someone! 10 The Car-habitor This person is in their car stationary just as much as when it's moving - calling people, eating cereal or getting changed. They live in their car and if you ever get a lift with them, you will have to share your seat with their books, empty crisp packets and in-car phone charger.
